Title:New ez-link cards out soon Date:Wednesday,December3rd2008

The next generation of ez-link cards ,set to be release later this month, will let commuters pay for Electronic Road Pricing tolls and parking charges, on top of MRT and bus fares.The ez-link cards which are of the same size, shape and thickness as the older ez-link cards can be slotted into new in vehicle units,which will be available to car owners next month.Commuters can buy the new cards from Transitlink offices in most MRT stations by the end of the month. Alternatively, they can trade in their current ez-link cards for free from next month onwards.

I felt that if one day a driver's car break down on the road,the car have been pulled to the factory,the driver do not need pay for taxi , instead the driver can take the ez-link card to take a bus or MRT home.
